Our story

Where it began

We met on a bright Sunday morning among the camellias at the Charleston Botanical Garden, both reaching for the same dog-eared field guide. One question about a rose led to a slow walk that lasted the whole afternoon. Somewhere between the wisteria arbor and the last bend of the path, we knew we'd found the person we wanted to keep walking beside.

Questions & Answers

May I bring a guest?
Your invitation notes how many seats are reserved in your name. We've planned the day with care, so kindly RSVP only for those named on your card.
Are children welcome?
As much as we adore little ones, we've chosen an adults-only celebration so every guest may relax and revel among the gardens.
What should I wear?
Garden formal — soft suiting and flowing dresses in your favorite garden hues. We'll begin outdoors among the blooms, so heels that love grass are a kindness to your feet.
How do I get there, and where do I park?
Ashford Gardens is a short drive from downtown Charleston. Complimentary valet greets you at the gates, with a self-park lot a gentle stroll from Wisteria Hall.
Will the celebration be indoors or out?
Our ceremony and cocktails unfold outdoors among the roses, then we move inside to Wisteria Hall for dinner and dancing — beautiful come rain or shine.
